The contactless engine speed sensor is designed to accurately measure the speed of spark-ignition engines (petrol, LPG, etc.), which are incompatible with diesel engines.
Gasoline motors
Connected to the tachometer, the SSE01416 facilitates accurate engine speed measurement thanks to an integrated contactless antenna.
It operates by means of an antenna that picks up the signal emitted by the spark plug at each ignition arc, without any physical connection. This technology guarantees fast, safe and non-intrusive installation. The antenna can be attached to the vehicle by means of a magnet if the signal is strong enough.
Measurement can also be carried out holding the sensor in the hand, or using a tripod for a more stable and convenient installation.

Measurement mode: Real-time display on CAP8533 or CAP8535 screen or via remote software (CAP3600).
Antenna positioning aid: Visual indicator on the display or in CAP3600 software, showing signal strength to help you find the best measurement position.
